Taking prints for our new “INKED” collection of fingerprint jewellery has never been easier! You simply take your fingerprints at home using an inkpad and paper, or by using a soft pencil, clear Sellotape and white paper. Classic FingerPrint Jewellery

If you are ordering from our Original FingerPrint Jewellery Collection - we will send you a very simple impression kit as soon as you place your order. Just choose the jewellery you would like to order, fill in the personalisation details in the text boxes provided and complete the payment for your order, and impression kit(s) will be sent to you, free of charge, and the return postage is free too (UK customers only). Our fingerprint impression kits are really simple to use, with no mess, or complicated instructions and each takes about two minutes of your time. The putty is totally safe, medical grade, extremely soft to the touch and leaves absolutely no mess or residue. If you are taking children’s print you can even do it when they are asleep! Once the prints are taken, the putty hardens and stabilises so that you can post it back to us!

Hand and Footprint Jewellery

For Ten Tiny Toes Jewellery you will be sent a special wipe which captures your hand or footprints onto a sensitised paper. This method was developed for use in maternity hospitals in America, and is totally safe! Hand and footprints appear like magic on the paper, which you then send back to us. Of course, if you already have a print that you'd like to use, just take a clear copy and email or post it to us.

With some magic of our own, we miniaturise the hand or footprints to fit your chosen item of jewellery and recreate them as though they were imprinted directly into the silver!

Footprint Life Sculptures

If you are ordering one of the “One Tiny Step” baby footprint sculptures - we will send you a very simple impression kit as soon as you place your order. Just select the correct size, fill in the personalisation details in the text boxes provided and complete the payment for your order, and an impression kit) will be sent to you, free of charge, and the return postage is free too (UK customers only).

The impression kit is really simple to use, with no mess, or complicated instructions and each takes about two minutes of your time. The putty is totally safe, medical grade, extremely soft to the touch and leaves absolutely no mess or residue. Once the prints are taken, the putty hardens so that you can post it back to us!

How quickly will I receive the impression kit?

If your order is received by 3pm Monday to Thursday we will send your impression pack by 1st Class post the same day. Orders placed after 3pm or at weekends are sent the next working day.

Returning your prints

As soon as we receive the impressions back (we include a pre-paid envelope for your convenience) you will receive an email to let you know they have arrived safely and again at every stage whilst we make your jewellery. We believe it is important to keep you informed every step of the way. All of the jewellery is handcrafted in sterling silver and hand polished to the highest standard you will find.

Remember that we can reuse the impressions for future and multiple orders. All impressions are stored safely for 12 months, unless requested otherwise, so that you can re-order new items easily and without having to retake the fingerprint unless you want to. All impressions are destroyed routinely after 12 months, but if you would like yours back, for safe keeping, of course we can do this.
