Our Silver Fingerprint Ring is a beautiful way to keep the touch of a loved one with you even when you’re apart.

After we receive your prints, we set to work. We will take the centre interesting ‘whorly’ section of your fingerprint and deep engrave it into a sterling silver ring, made to your size.

The choice is yours: engrave one or two fingerprints and cover half or all of the ring.

You might like to add some special words to the inside of your ring, too. Just let us know when placing your order what you’d like (up to 25 letters, including spaces).

Sterling Silver band

Silver and other metals are prone to tarnish, this oxidising process is a natural occurrence but some substances in our daily lives will speed the process up. Soap, hairspray, perfume, food, latex, perspiration and even the natural oils on our hands can tarnish metals more quickly.

We recommend that you use a good quality jeweller's cloth regularly as part of your jewellery cleaning routine. You should always remove jewellery before showering or swimming as metals can react with shampoo, chemicals and chlorine.

As with all jewellery, links and clasps can be opened or broken if not treated with care. Please check your jewellery carefully when you receive it and contact us within 7 days if it is delivered faulty or damaged. Your jewellery is fully guaranteed for 6 months against faulty workmanship or materials - although this does not cover accidental damage, misuse or wear and tear.

This does not affect your statutory rights.

We will take the centre interesting ‘whorly’ section of your fingerprint and deep engrave it into a sterling silver ring, made to your size. We can engrave one fingerprint, covering half of the ring, or two fingerprints covering all of the ring with a small polished gap between the prints - the choice is yours.

If you would prefer the print to be repeated in blocks, without a space between the engraving, then we can of course do this by special request. Please leave a comment in the "Notes for the maker" box when you place your order. There will be an additional cost of £25 for this option.

Please note to stretch a single fingerprint to cover the full circumference of a ring which is approx 70mm circumference by 5mm wide, is possible but in our opinion would not be aesthetically pleasing, or a true representation of your fingerprint!

If the fingerprint is of a child under 18 months, we recommend you take a trial print before ordering to ensure that there is visible definition.
