Each character is struck by hand, using individual letter punches and a hammer. This quirky look is the signature style of Morgan & French, and adds to the unique handcrafted nature of our hand stamped designs.

Your keyring is handmade by silversmiths in our quirky little jewellery studio, housed in an Old Victorian Fire Station in Biggleswade, a small market town in Bedfordshire.

The large copper ring is 24mm wide and the split ring is 25mm.

Made from distressed Copper. There's something very scrumptious about copper. Its fabulous colour of course, but also the weight of it and its healing properties. We love it because it's simply gorgeous.

Copper may naturally tarnish and eventually turn greenish because of the oxidisation process, just like copper water pipes. If this happens, it can easily be matted back to satin matt copper.

Stainless steel keyring.

Aluminium is a lightweight, silver coloured non-toxic metal, it will not tarnish.

Other metals such as Copper, Brass, Bronze and Silver are prone to tarnish, this oxidising process is a natural occurrence but some substances in our daily lives will speed the process up. Soap, hairspray, perfume, food, latex, perspiration and even the natural oils on our hands can tarnish metals more quickly. We recommend that you use a good quality jeweller's cloth regularly to keep the metal looking its best.

As with all jewellery and accessories chains: links and clasps can be opened or broken if not treated with care. Please check your item carefully when you receive it and contact us within 7 days if it is delivered faulty or damaged. Your jewellery is fully guaranteed for 6 months against faulty workmanship or materials - although this does not cover accidental damage, misuse or wear and tear.

This does not affect your statutory rights.

We can handstamp lower and uppercase letters (a-Z), numbers (0-9) and these special characters ° & ? / ( ) ! " . , : ; ? * (★). Spaces and these characters count as one letter.

We also have 16 design stamps (see our images), including infinity, yin yang and footprints. All you need to do is enter our two letter ‘code’ when personalising your jewellery. Design stamps count as two letters.

Your personalisation will be hand stamped, letter by letter, using individual hand held steel stamps and a very heavy hammer. Hand stamping takes time to complete and the end result is very different to machine aligned & engraved lettering (hurrah!) and that's why we do it; we want to achieve a look that is unique, quirky & clearly created by a human hand.

So, if you if you like perfect imperfection, hand stamped is for you!

However, if you like all your letters in a perfect line we do offer machine engraved items, but not this one; this one is just too special.

We even make the Story Beads by hand, one by one, to get the look just right. No machines (or robots) in sight! That's just how we like it.
